Johnny Otto
Executive Director
I first started teaching at Small Faces in 2004 shortly after earning my masters degree in education. I fell in love with the child centered, play based philosophy of the center. After five years teaching and working as office manager I was invited to replace the outgoing Executive Director (who had just finished 25 years leading Small Faces). My wife and I have two young daughters who I am excited to see experience Small Faces.
Paris Loutsis
Assistant Director
I started my career in the Early Childhood Education field in 2003 as a Lead Toddler Teacher. In 2003 I earned my AA in Early Childhood Education from Edmonds Community College. Since then, I have worked in various roles in early learning centers, including Assistant Director and Mentor Teacher. I love working with children, families and teachers because I believe supporting a school helps build brighter communities…I find it an honor to contribute to that brightness!
Cinthia Escobar
Program Supervisor
I have a degree in Child Development from Rio Hondo College in 2012 and have been an educator ever since. I am passionate about early childhood education and helping children learn in fun ways. In my 11 years of experience, I had learned to implement Montessori, HighScope, and STEAM philosophies. I have obtained a Master Teacher permit and site Supervisor Permit in Child Development from the state of California.
